Simplicity 8497 Misses' Evening Dress with Two Skirts in Two Lengths.

Apparently this pattern was originally released in 1969 - but this one has a copyright from 1970. This style definitely speaks to the late 60’s.
Lined, evening dress with back zipper and "V" shaped opening in lowered round neckline has skirt gathered to bodice above normal waistline. There’s a long set-in sleeve option or over skirt. May be worn with self fabric tie belt.
Make a gorgeous ball gown or a sophisticated cocktail dress.
Pattern is cut but complete with instructions and in good usable condition, though very wrinkly.
Envelope has tears and creases.
